Around 5- 6 months most babies are ready to have their first solid foods.

Some signs that indicate your little munchkin is ready for solid food are:

  • Display an active interest in food that others are eating.
  • Can sit up well
  • Willingness to chew food

Homemade baby food is less expensive and healthier than commercial ones.
