Mommies around the world are the best people as cliche as it may sound. We all know the sacrifice, the delicate condition before, during and after pregnancy. After all those sacrifices, they won’t be able to do the things that they used to do such as pampering themselves especially those moms who are always on the go. Yes, you are a great mom, you can also be a superwoman and you should also be a beauty queen at the same time despite all hardships as a woman and as a mom.
Would you neglect yourself just because you’re already a mom? I don’t think so. You should allot one day once a week for your pamper day.
Put a hair mask or virgin coconut oil on your hair. You heat it up just by running your hands back and forth then spread on your hair. If you have longer hair, work it through the middle and ends but make sure to pay attention to your scalp. Take a second to really massage your scalp and you will feel great.
Once you’re done soaking and drenching your hair in the oil, just tie your hair up in a bun and let it sit there for about an hour.
It would be also great to put a facial mask, put eye patches to lessen the puffiness of your eyes and lip moisturizer to hydrate and shine your lips. Let everything sit for about 15-20 minutes. You choose your own brand for these products because it really depends on what you think is best for you.
After 20 minutes, take a shower. I recommend a hot steamy shower for your whole me-time routine. Use your favorite shampoo and conditioner. Take the time to massage your scalp to remove all that coconut oil out. It may take a couple of rounds of shampooing to get it all out.
Wash your face with a gentle cleanser. Scrub your whole body to leave your skin so smooth.
You can also go to salons if you want to get more treatment.
